Using a Headset in GW? - Guild Wars Forums

I just setup a NEW Headset to use in GW, joined a Guild, and excitingly just made a test run, but was unable to hear anyone in the game on this initial run. Somewhere - I ran across key commands that you used to control WHO you could hear - but due to over-kill of INFO - I cannot remember/find what those commands are - could someone PLEASE tell me, how I tell Ventilo/GW what and who I want to hear and when?

You need to download Ventrillo first and then find the server that your other players are in. You have to bind a key to speak and everytime you want to speak to them you have to hold that key. A good key would probably be CAPS LOCK as the surrounding keys are used in the game but it is still very close to where your hand should be in the game.

Also, make sure your mic and headphone jack are properly connected to the right slot of your soundcard or motherboard onboard sound card.
